De-oxidetion Al mixture – ADBA
Using aluminium ingot in de-oxidation process, the steel quality is affected by residual Al in it structure. Experimental practice show that is better to use Al powder, but in this case Al lost is higher.Mixture ADBA in pellet form is more efficient. Experimental work show that, pellets melting speed on lichid steel is comparable with Al oxidation and FeO difusion speed. Slag bazicity and CaO, MgO, SiO2 content are choice to form for a refine process adjust composition. Mixture recipe permit maximum Al powder puting for more efficient de-oxidation process in steel pot ore in LF process.
